Star~Chapter one

    There are things a 5 year old shouldn’t see. Just like the things Star saw. It was her birthday, she had come down stairs excitedly to see her mom and dad. But when she found them she saw something horrifying. She saw her mom and dad, lying on the floor, covered in blood. She screamed. She didn’t know what to do. She was all alone now. She had no siblings, but her mom was supposed to have another child in a few months.
    She didn’t know how long she was there before she saw a figure of a man appear. She held her breath, scared that the person who had killed her parents had come back, and now kill her. She couldn’t think. She could barely see anything. Her vision was blurry and she could barely see the man. Finally her world faded to black and she passed out.
When she woke up she was in a strange room she had never been in before. It was like a bedroom. She looked around and saw a man. He looked like the man that she had seen, or she thought he was. She immediately panicked and tried to jump at him, only to realize that she couldn’t move.
    “Oh, you’re awake,” The man said looking at her,” I suppose you’re wondering what’s going on, aren’t you?” She looked at him, not saying anything. “Oh well, I’ll explain. You see, Star, you are special. I don’t know if you’ve heard the story before but every 100 years or so, a special magician is born. This special magician has great and endless power. And, there are a lot of people who would kill to have the power like this. And Star, if you haven’t figured it out yet, YOU’RE the special magician. That is why those people killed you’re family, to get to you. You’re lucky you weren’t down there when they were there. Anyway, until you can use your power, I’ll keep you here. It sounds odd but I will protect you.” He paused to let her think about that. He got up and walked over to her. She remained silent, and didn’t look at him. “It’s a lot for you think of isn’t it, but its really the only option other than death.” He told her sympathetically.
    “Alright” she murmured. “I’ll stay”
    “Glad to hear that” He smiled at her. "Anyway, you're probably wondering who I am, I won't go with a whole nice introduction and everything but I'll tell you my name is Kaiser, I am a descendent of one of the first magicians, my families magic is one of the best in the world, making this a good place for you to stay."
    And thus the adventure begins.
